Whether it’s because you do not want to be alone on major holidays, or if you want companionship, starting a new relationship can be a full time effort. No matter what you age, finding someone who is compatible with you can always be a challenge. You must think about the lifestyle you currently have, the interests and hobbies that are important to you, and your family situation. All of this will come into play when you begin dating again.
For example, if you have been alone for a number of years and have children at home, you will have to take that into consideration. You may be used to spending time with children more than adults, and that can be an adjustment. On the other hand, if you have no children, meeting someone with children and starting a relationship with them may be very different from what you are used to in your life.

This could be in association to a sport you are involved with, your church group, or a volunteer organization you are a part of.
